The Assistant Director is a financial aid professional responsible for counseling students and parents about financial aid and educational financing options, and determining financial aid eligibility for institutional, federal, and state funds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial aid administration.
- Ability to succeed in a customer-oriented, team-based, technology-intensive work environment
- Ability to continuously expand knowledge of technology/tools supporting effective business processes.
- Excellent counseling, analytical, reporting, and communication skill
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
