Rink Operator

The Rink Operator is responsible for ice maintenance, facility operations, and customer service at the Babson College skating center.

Requirements

• Drives and operates Zamboni according to established procedures and safety guidelines
• Evaluates ice conditions, equipment, and facility before, during, and at end of scheduled shift
• Performs customer service duties including pro shop sales, ticket window sales, skate sharpening, and distributing rental skates
• Assists with general maintenance and cleaning of facility and rink property
• Assists with game management for Babson College Varsity hockey, Babson Club hockey, youth hockey, adult hockey, and other games
