Job Description
The Avionics Electric Maintenance Supervisor works in a highly challenging environment, playing a key role in generating aircraft for the RSAF customer. The role involves leading the resolution of complex Engineering issues, team management, and interfacing with other departments and organizations. The supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance system testing programme, Avionics Electrical System Testing requirements, and supervising team technicians. The role also involves providing support to the RSAF away from TMSC, working and supervising outside normal trade boundary, and coordinating scheduled maintenance activities.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline
- At least 7 years post qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment
- Relevant type training ('Q' Course) and equipment specific training if required
- Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel
