Deputy Project Engineering Manager

Join BAE Systems as a Deputy Project Engineering Manager and play a key part in coordinating the engineering development activities for the MIMESIS programme. The role involves working closely with work-package leads to support the day-to-day management of software and systems engineering teams, and contributing to estimating, forecasting, tracking and reporting engineering progress.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline
• Sound understanding of complex software development and integration
• Awareness of IT systems development engineering principles
• Proven experience in leading the design, development and delivery of software engineering solutions
• Experience leading and managing a software team, providing technical direction, coordinating workloads and ensuring high-quality delivery across development activities
