Job Description
The Metrology Engineer (Calibration) role is responsible for applying measurement science, mathematics, and physics to develop and maintain calibration systems, procedures, and methods for mechanical, Pressure/Vacuum, Temperature, Humidity, Dimensional, Test Measuring and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics / Electro-Mechanics / Mechanical Engineering or significant work experience
- Sound academic background in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, and Mathematics
- Good knowledge of statistics and methods of estimating uncertainty of measurement results
- Understanding of international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005
- Extensive practical experience of calibration of TMDE
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to recognize discrepancies and invalid results
- Good understanding of RSAF MetCal processes and procedures
- Valid Saudi driving license
