Job Description
Apply measurement science, mathematics, physics, and engineering theory and principles to design, develop processes and methods for calibrating electrical, dimensional, optical, physical, mechanical, environmental and/or chemical Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Requirements
- Successful completion of formal training in calibration, repair and alignment of electrical or mechanical Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
- At least 5 years of practical experience in the calibration and repair of TMDE and RSAF specific TMDE
- Full conversance with RSAFI 4-7702, MetCal Wing Quality Manual and familiarity with RSAF Manual 105-8, RSAF Manual 67-1 and RSAF Manual 78-series
- Good understanding of ISO 17025
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Proactive planning, excellent organizational skills, initiative and ability to establish successful working relationships with RSAF
