Job Description
Metrology Technician (Calibration) Electrical is responsible for applying measurement science, mathematics, physics, and engineering theory and principles to design, develop processes and methods for calibrating electrical, dimensional, optical, physical, mechanical, environmental and/or chemical Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Requirements
- Formal training in calibration, repair and alignment of Electrical or Mechanical Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
- At least 5 years of practical experience in calibration and repair of Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) and RSAF specific TMDE
- Familiarity with RSAF Manual 105-8, 67-1, and 78-series, and ISO 17025
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to communicate with high level RSAF and BAE Systems personnel
