Job Description
Join BAE Systems as a Principal Engineer – Systems Engineering (Integration, Verification & Validation) and lead dedicated embedded engineering support to projects, maintaining assurance, governance & compliance to BAE Lifecycle Management Framework (LCM) and RIBA. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will capture iterative design change and deliver documentation in accordance with company processes.
Requirements
- Degree level qualification in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science) or equivalent industry/armed forces experience
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and best practices within the defence, maritime, or related industries
- Proven delivery & experience working within Construction/Infrastructure project lifecycle management, with a broad understanding of the entire process (LCM,RIBA,NPI)
- Awareness of additional governance requirements around delivering change on a nuclear licensed site
- Proven experience of leading a small team or senior / junior engineers
- Knowledge of applicable engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations
