Job description
Join the Mission Engineering team at BAE Systems Inc Space and Mission Systems (SMS) as a Senior Principal Engineer - Systems. Lead proposals and study efforts for the entire program lifecycle, including concept, design, requirement development, implementation, and launch. Work with new business teams to define future architectures, systems, and technological needs.
Develop technical trades studies to define system architectures, trade technical performance options and impacts, define System CONOPS, and contribute to new IRAD/technology development concepts. Provide engineering support across multiple new business pursuits and contribute to customer relationships.
As a team leader, guide a team to completion of milestones within specific projects and provide solutions to technical problems. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics, modeling and simulation, and space architectures.
