Job Description
The Litigation Docketing Specialist plays a critical role in managing legal deadlines and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely docket entries for litigation matters across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 2-5 years' experience in a law firm Litigation Docketing role or similar
- Substantial experience computing calendar deadlines for state, federal and appellate courts
- Experience with USPTO, PTAB and TTAB litigation procedures
- Knowledge and experience with court-rules bases calendaring systems
- Knowledge and experience with electronic court filings
- Strong research, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of internal and personnel affairs
- Proven flexibility in managing multiple priorities
- Proven ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment
- Demonstrated ability to function independently while promoting and participating in a team environment
