Staff designated as Litigation Docketing Specialists are responsible for managing and maintaining the docketing system of the Firm, tracking litigation deadlines, filing dates, and court appearances, and providing accurate and timely information regarding case timelines and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal or administrative field
- Minimum of two years of experience in a docketing role within a law firm or legal department, with a focus on litigation
- Proficiency with docketing software and case management systems
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local court rules and calendar management
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
