Job Description
The Line & Grade Instrument Man II provides expertise in using surveying equipment to ensure accurate project layout. Coordinates layout activities with project leadership and resolves conflicts with tolerances and field constructability issues. Contributes to safety on the project and supports the field in resolving conflicts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 4 years' construction experience
- 2 years' experience as an Line & Grade Instrument Man I
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Knowledge of industry tolerances
- Working knowledge in the use of the coordinate system
