Job Description
The Line & Grade Instrument Man II provides expertise and coordination in using surveying equipment to ensure accurate layout on projects. Coordinates with teams to resolve constructability conflicts and contributes to effective project management through daily observations and communication.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 4 years' construction experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years' experience as an Line & Grade Instrument Man I
- Good listening skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Knowledge of industry tolerances
- Working knowledge in the use of the coordinate system
- Ability to work harmoniously with subordinates, peers, supervisors and clients
