Our esteemed client, an iconic ultra-luxury resort, is seeking a Pastry Sous Chef who is passionate about creativity, quality, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences within a luxury resort environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Pastry Arts / Culinary Arts from a reputable institution
- Experience working in an ultra-luxury resort environment is essential
- Ability to adapt and work in a remote island resort setting
- Ability to plan and introduce creative menus for daily rotations and special events
- Experienced in managing the kitchen in the absence of the Pastry Chef
- Cross-cultural work environment exposure
- Excellent communication and strong leadership skills
- Having experience in wellness retreats is an advantage
- Outgoing personality, team player, self-managed, problem-solving skills, adaptability, resilience, ability to multitask and a passion for leading a healthy lifestyle
- Additional European language is a plus
