Manager, Plant Quality Assurance

The Manager, Plant Quality Assurance position at Ball Corporation is responsible for managing the plant quality assurance function, maintaining a safe and secure work environment, and overseeing the development and implementation of quality assurance standard procedures and methods.

Requirements

• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment
• Overseeing the development and implementation of quality assurance standard procedures and methods
• Directing and coordinating the activities of the quality assurance function
• Establishing and maintaining a customer relations program
• Directing and implementing quality training and development programs
• Establishing and analysing quality areas, including quality goals, quality problems, defective materials, claims and customer quality problems
• Working with material suppliers on quality issues and cost reductions
• Administering customer and vendor claim reimbursement systems
• Performing leaker awareness training at the customer level
• Accessing, inputs, and retrieving information from the computer
• Maintaining an employee relations climate of trust and confidence
• Establishing and maintaining effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company
