Job Description
The Portfolio Analyst role is responsible for monitoring the performance of borrowers, identifying deviations from expected performance, and raising credit concerns to the portfolio team. The role requires financial analysis, data collection and analysis, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness necessary to complete in-depth industry and market analyses
- Strong interpersonal, writing and oral communication skills
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients
- Above average knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Self-Starter
- Great attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience or training
- 1-2 years related experience or public accounting
- High School diploma or equivalent required
