Job Description
Mortgage Loan Officer position at Banner Bank, part of a team delivering superior value to clients by making real estate loans that meet Bank standards for economic value and safety. Opportunities include originating loans from various sources, attending Realtor Association and Builder Association meetings, and promoting home ownership through community outreach efforts.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related field preferred
- NMLS registration required
- 3+ years of experience in residential mortgage origination required
- Proven history of success in consistent closing and funding of loans to meet sales goals
- Knowledge of mortgage loan origination processes and procedures, regulations, and underwriting
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of current market competition, sales strategies, trends, and activity
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to real estate lending
