Senior Control Systems Project Lead

We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Project Lead to join our Mining team, based out of Saskatoon, SK. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in industrial control systems engineering and a strong understanding of control system architecture and integration. The role will involve leading control system design and implementation for an ABB 800xA DCS, developing and maintaining control philosophies, and ensuring control designs align with operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in industrial control systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience leading ABB 800xA projects, including architecture and system design.
• Strong understanding of: Control system architecture and integration, Operator interface design and alarm management, Multi-vendor and multi-team project environments, Proven ability to communicate effectively across programming groups, project teams, and vendors.
• Experience working in brownfield and live operating facilities.
• Comfortable working with evolving scope and incomplete information.
• Requires professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
• Experience coordinating OT networking and system interties.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and infrastructure considerations in control systems.
• Prior experience acting as technical authority or design lead.
