Legal Counsel – European Funds & Distribution

We are seeking a Legal Counsel – European Funds & Distribution to join our team in London. The role involves advising on the establishment and ongoing operation of European investment funds and related corporate and regulatory matters.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 3–6 years’ post‐qualification experience gained in a funds or investment management practice
• Strong fund formation experience is required
• Good working knowledge of European fund structures and regulation (including AIFMD and UCITS)
• Experience drafting and negotiating fund documentation, including offering documents, limited partnership agreements and investor side letters
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels and across multiple functions
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple matters
• A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to develop expertise in new areas and support the team through periods of regulatory and business change
• An interest in improving processes and ways of working, and contributing positively to team culture
