Community Safety Officer- On Call

The Community Safety Officer is expected to provide campus safety and security while monitoring access control of the College buildings, grounds, and sidewalks. Provide assistance and directional information to the campus community as needed.

Requirements

• Periodically tours buildings and grounds to determine whether they are secured
• Maintain department records and logs to support operations
• Respond to fire alarm activations and other emergency situations
• Engage with members of the campus community and visitors
• Checks campus exterior and campus lighting, reporting observed concerns
