Job Description
Community Safety Officer- On Call is responsible for providing campus safety and security, monitoring access control, and identifying hazards. They will also assist and provide directional information to the campus community.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, plus 2 or more years work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively; to comprehend, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to maintain composure in an emergency situation
- Possess valid New York State Security Guard License
- Possess Fire Guard Certificate of Fitness (F01, F03, and/or F04), or ability to complete testing in the first 90 days of employment (obtaining Certificate of Fitness within the first year)
- Must possess valid state issued Driver’s License
