Software Senior Engineer

Join Barracuda's Application Security team as a Software Senior Engineer and help build Web Application Firewall (WAF) and WAF-as-a-Service product lines. Collaborate with a diverse team to create innovative security solutions for customers worldwide.

Requirements

• Strong practical Linux skills
• Solid experience in C, C++, Python programming and scripting languages
• Experience in working with multithreaded, asynchronous programming
• Strong understanding of building large codebases on various platforms
• Experience working on Datapath/packet path
• Domain knowledge of Firewalls, HTTP and SSL protocols, WAFs, Web applications or any network/cloud security products
• Experience working with Docker and containers
• Hands on experience in reproducing the problems, scale issues, trace backs, performance issues in a traffic scenario
• Strong experience with managing customer expectations, working with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to manage customer sentiments, hold the fold, provide air cover for engineering
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders, drive the resolutions with stipulated timelines
• Experienced in triaging issues and assigning right severity and priority for the issues
• B tech or master's in computer science or related fields
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Hands on experience with efficient Data Structures and Algorithms
• Solid experience in C / C++ / Python / Go programming and associated STLs/packages/libraries
