Cortez - Open Pit Welder

We are seeking a Fabricator/Welder for our Open Pit Maintenance team at Nevada Gold Mines' Cortez operations. The successful candidate will maintain welds on various items, install items, and maintain shop and equipment to ensure availability and functioning of required items and ensure safety.

Requirements

• Two plus years of experience in maintenance of mobile, farm, trucking, aircraft, military, or support equipment
• Basic knowledge of manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, Air Arc, etc.
• Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
• Ability to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model
• Housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level
• Good written and verbal communication skills
