Job Description
We are seeking a Chocolate Academy Chef for the German market who is a native German speaker. The role involves supporting the Head of Chocolate Academy in promoting the Callebaut brand in Germany, delivering customer sessions, offering technical expertise, developing products, and providing training. The role requires 50% travel and involves creating new product applications, supporting national fairs and events, and acting as a local influencer within the internal and national chef communities.
Requirements
- Degree in Culinary school (confectionery and pastry, ice cream is nice to have)
- Degree in Food Technology or Gastronomy Science is nice to have
- Deep knowledge of pastry and confectionery techniques in all typology of customers food manufacturing
- Degustation and food pairing skills
- Knowledge of B2B market and production organization of pastry business
- Strong communication & public speaking skills
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural international environment
- Strong business acumen
- Organization and anticipation skills
