HVAC Mechanic

The HVAC Mechanic performs routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and also HVAC layout, construction, modification, testing, adjustment, and calibration of HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Training certification for HVAC to include chillers.
• 8 years of proven experience in a similar or the same position.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and communicate verbally and in writing with fellow employees.
• Must be able to research and order HVAC equipment and supplies.
• Must be able to follow all proper procedures on Schooldude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments with other trades.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
