Job Description
Gallaudet University seeks an HVAC Mechanic to perform skilled duties associated with the maintenance, installation, repair, replacement, and alteration of equipment and systems. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience with HVAC, equipment maintenance, or a related field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of three years of experience with HVAC, equipment maintenance, or a related field
- Ability to communicate in American Sign Language (preferred)
- HVAC certifications (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of equipment and tools of the trade
- Strong knowledge of electrical and carpentry work
- Demonstrated ability to work with and across University departments, outside constituents and groups
