This position is for a Baker who will be responsible for executing tasks throughout the Bakery department, including mixing, baking, merchandising, and providing customer service. The role requires a keen eye for Food Safety and Sanitation, while offering strong customer service skills. The position is fast-paced and requires being a team player.

Requirements

• Mix, weigh, proof, bake, fry, decorate, and shop bakery products using Bashas’ recipes.
• Load and unload the oven, manage oven temperatures and durations.
• Scale cakes and cupcakes, ice sweet rolls, breads, and cookies.
• Order and receive bakery products and supplies.
• Control product inventory and out-of-stock items.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Wrap, box, and stock bakery department products.
• Display goods according to bakery guidelines.
• Help with personalization and decoration of cakes, donuts, etc.
