Job Description
The Lead Maintenance Tech supports the maintenance and facility management team to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are functioning effectively and within compliance in order to meet plant objectives for safety, quality, and capacity. The position requires strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience in facility/manufacturing/production maintenance required.
- Mechanical Maintenance knowledge such as pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, labeling equipment, conveyors, and continuous inkjet printers required.
- Electrical working knowledge and experience with AC/DC motors and drives, electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, relays, switches, photo eyes/sensors, valves, switches, temperature controllers and servo motors is a plus.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Maximo preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and specialized software in related field.
- Must be self-directed and motivated to complete repetitive tasks.
- Sensitivity to confidential information is required.
