The Young Adult Recovery Support Specialist draws from your own lived experience of recovery and healing to inspire hope and help peers achieve their personal goals by promoting self-determination, personal responsibility, and young adult empowerment.
Requirements
- Must be In Recovery or found Recovery from substance abuse as a young person (required)
- You will be paid to complete the Working with Youth and Young Adults for Recovery Coaches
- Working knowledge about available recovery resources in your community
- Open minded to all-pathways of recovery
- Live in the community you will serve
- Fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Cantonese/Mandarin is preferred
