Assistant Nurse Operations Manager - Neuro Med/Surg - Bayfront Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager to lead their Neuro Med/Surg unit. The ANOM will be responsible for the management of the unit, including nursing practice and administrative oversight. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, current RN license in Florida, and at least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.

Requirements

• Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager
• Participates in recruitment and selection of new team members
• Coordinates with Human Resources on corrective action and career advancement
• Investigates event reports and provides feedback to team members
• Oversight of schedules, patient flow, and direct patient care activities
• Performs Nurse Leader rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and customer experience support
