Job Description
The Medical Science Liaison will serve as a scientific and clinical expert and liaison between Baylor Genetics and key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic centers. The role involves developing, disseminating, and clarifying scientific and clinical information, establishing long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in scientific field (MS in Genetic Counseling, PhD, NP, MD)
- Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience in pediatric medicine with an emphasis on genetics
- 2+ years of industry experience in Medical Affairs
- Familiarity with genomics and molecular diagnostics technologies
- Proven history delivering high quality scientific presentations
- Fluency with MS Office and SharePoint software
- Experience leading initiatives and/or teams cross functionally
