Job Description
The System Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and advancing Baylor Geneticsā technology infrastructure. This position is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale systems, with a strong emphasis on Azure and Linux platforms, to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 years of experience as a System Administrator supporting enterprise-scale environments with a strong emphasis on Azure and Linux platforms
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell); strong knowledge of system security best practices including patching, hardening, and least-privilege access
