Job Description
Health Care Resource Centers is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments, and collect personal information. The Medical Assistant will also take vital signs, help practitioners with treatment, and collect lab samples. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Medical Assistant certification or registration
- Phlebotomy experience
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Knowledge of State Regulations, DEA regulations, and TJC and / or CARF Accreditation
- MS Office and patient management software skills
- Positive rapport with patients and non-judgmental attitude toward Substance Use Disorder population
