Job Description
The Certified Peer Support Specialist will provide peer support services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems, promoting a culture of recovery and empowerment.
Requirements
- Act as an integral member of the BAART Program/MedMark Treatment Center team
- Provide a role model for persons enrolled and/or seeking recovery and treatment services, other staff members, and service providers
- Share personal experiences of recovery to build a sense of hope in the recovery and supportive services
