The Care Monitor works closely with onsite staff, providing support and monitoring of the site to ensure a safe environment for staff and residents. The schedule for this position is shift-based, and shifts may change as needed to meet operational needs.
Requirements
- Understanding of substance use and harm reduction strategies preferred
- Ability to work well with diverse staff and clientele including cultural, language, sexual identity, gender, and other diversity considerations
- Ability to speak, read, and write clearly in English
- Ability to successfully and efficiently complete tasks in an environment with background noise and interruptions
- Record keeping and confidentiality
- Valid California’s Driver’s License (if duties require)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Exhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships
- Independent judgment in evaluation options to make sound decisions
