BB&E is a full-service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm seeking a Construction Surveillance Engineering Technician to support the NAVFAC Southeast (SE) Headquarters. The position involves providing overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects and ensuring quality workmanship in accordance with specifications and industry standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of verified experience as a Quality Control Manager working for General Contractors on NAVFAC or US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects
- 10 years of verified foreman experience in one or more of following trades: Concrete; Mechanical; Electrical; Masonry; or Carpentry on commercial/industrial/military projects
- Must complete the USACE Construction CQM Certification
- Physical Requirements: standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, navigating across uneven ground, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to work both indoor/outdoor (with exposure to the elements), wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and drive company or personal vehicles to and from field locations
