Video Journalist, News Streaming

We're looking for experienced, creative and versatile Video Journalists who have a passion for storytelling and can initiate, gather and edit material at pace. This role sits within the News on iPlayer team where we create impactful mid and longform content.

Requirements

• Proven ability and experience as a self-shooting journalist who can combine technical proficiency with high-quality production skills and compelling visual storytelling.
• Demonstrable history of producing video packages for digital or linear, using shooting and editing skills such as FCP or Premiere.
• Effective planning and organisational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks and working with multiple stakeholders in a way that ensures positive working relationships and respectful collaboration.
• Ability to work independently without supervision while maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility and adaptability when under pressure and editorial priorities are pivoting – and the ability to deliver consistently to tight deadlines – including being able to work evenings and weekends to deliver always on news coverage.
