Director Accounting

The Director Accounting will assist in leading the Accounting Team, providing expertise to ensure department maintains strong internal controls environment in compliance with internal policies, IFRS, and GAP requirements, and guiding the monthly close and account reconciliation process.

Requirements

• Meet or exceed Accounting department budget targets
• Support management by identifying areas to increase ebitda
• Continuously improve processes to minimize costs
• Provide expertise and develop procedures to ensure department maintains strong internal controls environment in compliance with internal policies, IFRS, and GAP requirements
• Guide the monthly close and account reconciliation process
• Review all balance sheet account reconciliations and provide commentary on balances that indicate unusual fluctuations
• Identify and maintain key controls, document processes and controls, and with guidance from GHQ ensure changes are reflected in existing documentation
• Lead Accounting team
