Mechanical Engineer I

BCforward is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to improve product design or design new products using engineering principles and achieve expertise in mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for running design controls and designing mechanical product/subsystem release solutions.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics, or Biomedical Engineering
• Knowledge in structural engineering, plastics molding, analysis, and verification of mechanical structures.
• Understanding in theories, concepts and techniques in structural and/or dynamics analysis
• Knowledge of industry and/or academic practices and standards related to structural analysis, finite element analysis, and structural verification testing, bioprocessing
• Knowledge in statistics analysis, risk management and FMEA
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Plastics and 2 years relevant work experience
• Demonstrated design verification and validation and product design experience.
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
• Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
• Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Global project experience
