The GIE Product & Process Design Staff Engineer will define manufacturing technology strategy for new products and product design changes, influence product design through design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) analysis, and enable successful industrialization and transfer to the Specimen Management Business Unit factories.
Requirements
- B.S. in advanced manufacturing engineering, product design, and/or technical leadership level in Medical Device or other highly regulated industries, or M.S. in advanced manufacturing engineering, product design, and/or technical leadership level in Medical Device or other highly regulated industries
- 10+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, product design, and/or technical leadership level in Medical Device or other highly regulated industries
- Broad-based business experience in high performance multi-national enterprise
- Demonstrated experience leading/deploying Advanced Assembly initiatives and coaching at site/functional level
- Subject matter expert in DFMA, engineering, and process for assembly
