Responsible for driving product and/or service sales within a particular region, achieving sales targets, building new business relationships, and maintaining existing ones.
Requirements
- Implement sales strategies as defined by Sales Director.
- Develop a strong understanding of market trends, selling techniques, pricing, product features/benefits, competition, customer needs and buying practices.
- Build solid working relationships with distributors and customers.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on area performance.
- Develop and implement plans to increase market share for each product line within his/her territory.
- Provide feedback to Marketing regarding customer needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with Technical Services and Clinical Support staff to provide technical assistance to customers and to resolve problems related to the use of BD products.
