BDO is seeking a Manager, Financial Effectiveness to join their Finance Effectiveness Advisory Practice in Toronto. The successful candidate will drive business development efforts, manage projects, and provide leadership to senior and executive level client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field; MBA or Accounting designation preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in consulting/advisory within Accounting and/or Finance, including direct management of Intermediate and Senior-level professionals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and guide teams to deliver complex projects.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for identifying opportunities and developing innovative solutions for clients.
- Experience working with technology including ERP platforms (Oracle E-Business Suite/Cloud, SAP/SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365), or other finance software (Blackline, Workiva, and other finance automation tools etc.).
- Experience and interest in AI, specifically as it relates to the finance function.
