We are seeking a Senior Consultant, Financial Effectiveness to join our team at BDO Canada. As a Senior Consultant, you will work collaboratively with clients to optimize shareholder value and transform the finance function. You will be responsible for analyzing client issues, developing recommendations, and delivering value to clients across various projects.
Requirements
- Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials.
- An accounting designation (CPA) or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in finance or consulting.
- Deep expertise in financial management disciplines, such as financial process design, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, financial performance management, analytics and data modelling, and business case development.
- Experience with, or interest in, acquiring knowledge of systems and technologies that support the finance function, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365, SAP, Oracle, Blackline, Workiva, etc.
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
- Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving.
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
