BDO is seeking a Senior Consultant, Business Resilience to join their National Business Resilience Team. The role involves providing crisis management guidance and services to clients, as well as contributing to business development activities.
Requirements
- University diploma in risk management, emergency management, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years as a consultant or with experience in risk management, emergency preparedness and response, and business continuity
- Minimum 3-5 years in one or a combination of the targeted industries: Energy & Natural Resources, Financial Services, Public Sector, Manufacturing & Distribution, and Not-For-Profit and Real Estate
- Bilingual in French and English (asset)
- Government of Canada security clearance (or ability to qualify)
- Professional designation (ABCP, CBCP, MBCI, or equivalent) (preferred)
- Membership in risk management, emergency management, and/or business continuity organizations (asset)
- Transferable backgrounds such as military, policing, or public safety (encouraged to apply)
- Strong writing skills for client deliverables
- Familiarity with business continuity and crisis management frameworks
- Comfort working independently and managing multiple concurrent engagements
