Job Description
BDO is seeking an Income Franchise Tax Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, recommend alternative courses of action, and ensure compliance. The role involves research, tax compliance, consulting, and tax-related software utilization. The manager will also oversee a team of STS Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates, and drive the development of client relationships and growth.
Requirements
- Eight+ years of prior experience in state and local/multistate tax experience
- Prior experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement
- Prior experience preparing and/or reviewing tax provisions
- CPA certification or other relevant certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of standard tax applications
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
