A STS Tax Manager, Credits & Incentives is responsible for advising clients on credit & incentive opportunities, recommending courses of action, and identifying compliance methods. The role involves marketing, networking, and business development, as well as working with the Core Tax Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers to provide credits & incentives expertise to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant field, required
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation or Juris Doctorate, preferred
- Five (5) or more years of state and local/multistate tax experience required, with experience in credits & incentives strongly preferred
- Experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis, required
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax provisions, preferred
- CPA or other relevant certification, required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word, preferred
- Exposure to and familiarity with standard tax applications and research tools, preferred
