The Director of Facilities will provide strategic leadership, oversight, and technical expertise to maintenance teams across assigned properties. The Director will manage a dynamic and fast-paced schedule, which may include regular overnight travel, to support property operations and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in facilities management, engineering, architecture, or related discipline preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or construction supervision
- Required certifications must be obtained and maintained, as applicable
- Proficiency with Excel, Yardi, and other relevant systems is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; work with arms raised overhead; stand or walk for extended periods; climb stairs; bend, stoop, and kneel; and perform tasks such as lifting equipment, moving appliances or furniture, and shoveling snow, as required
