Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead one or two teams of software engineers at Beatport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern back-end and service-oriented architectures, software design principles, cloud infrastructure and devops/site reliability concepts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development
• At least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering technical projects successfully
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages and environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
• Passionate about electronic music and the culture surrounding it
