Job Description
The Software Producer for the Platform Team is responsible for managing Beatport's core engine and shared services, including Identity, Ingestion, Catalog, and Library services, which power the entire Beatport product suite. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as a Software Producer managing complex backend systems and technical projects, with expertise in Scrum ceremonies, API protocols, and database querying.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a Software Producer (or similar role) managing complex backend systems and technical projects
- Experience in Scrum ceremonies, including story writing, kanban, sprint planning, and coordinating multiple developer teams
- Strong experience in API protocols, HTTP methods, status codes, and API troubleshooting
- Ability to query databases independently to validate schemas, understand the data, and troubleshoot data integrity issues
