Engineer - Mechanical Power Plant System

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) projects, with experience in Design / Selection / Engineering of Power system, including Heat & Mass balance, Cooling water system, Feed water, Condensate and other Utility system. Candidate should have worked on execution of Basic/Conceptual Engineering, FEED, EPCM, EPC modes of execution for Indian and International projects.

Requirements

• Review of deliverables of Process Package
• Design Criteria
• Design calculations for flow and pressure-drop
• Data sheets, Project specifications, Material and Service Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations
• System Descriptions
• Generate PIDs
• Ensuring quality for the deliverables /work done
• Develop technical specifications for Equipment/Package
• Review of specifications from Licensor / Client / PMC
• Participating in IDC process
• Interaction with Engineering disciplines, Clients / PMC, Bidders / Vendors
• Review of Vendor prints and approval
• Resolving Vendor/Site queries
• Interaction with Inspection Agencies, Expeditors, other agencies for delivery of Equipment/Packages
• Develop / assist in documentation for progress reporting
• Implement / Capture Lesson Learnt
• Active pursue of Value Engineering, design and cost optimization program
• Travel to help activities at other engineering offices, supplier’s works, construction sites
